CENTRAL CAROLINA SURGERY WELCOMES
Dr. James Morgan, III
Dr. James Morgan, III graduated from Davidson College in 1984, then received his medical degree from
the Marshall University School of Medicine in 1988. After completing his general surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh in 1993, he returned to his hometown of Huntington, WV. Dr. Morgan then served as Assistant Professor of Surgery with the Marshall University School of Medicine. Prior to joining Central Carolina Surgery, he was Chief of Surgery and the Director of the Breast Center at St. Maryʹs Medical Center. Dr. Morgan is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Morgan welcomes new patients and has a special interest in surgery for diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. His practice also includes a broad range of surgical procedures such as surgery of the GI tract, abdominal cancer surgery, complex hernia repairs, advanced laparoscopic surgery and endoscopy.
Dr. Morgan will be full time at Randolph Health.
